So I've been here for about a week and things are going pretty good. The hostel so far has been pretty good. I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first, but its grown on me. The people are all pretty cool and they're all generally pretty mellow. I've gotten along pretty well here. I've been rooming with an Australian who just graduated from high school. He's pretty cool. Haven't seen him around much because he's been working really weird hours so our paths haven't really crossed much.
I had a job interview on Friday which went over pretty good. It was at a pub that's right between Leicester and Trafaglar square.

The people working there are in more or less the same situation I'm in. They're people from various different commonwealth countries who are here on a working holiday. I worked for five or so hours today and the people I was working with seemed pretty decent. I liked the people I was working with, which is good because I'll be living there. That's one of the advantages of this job in that I'll only be paying 30 pounds a week for housing. I'll be sharing a room with one or maybe two other people which shouldn't be too bad. The big downside is that they don't have internet access at the pub, which is pretty lame. There are enough places around that I should be able to get on pretty easily. Skype might be slightly more problematic, but I can get a phone plan here that lets me call for 4 cents a minute if that's what I need to do.
I went out to a Pub with Patrick last night. We went out the Blackfriar's and hung out for a few hours. He seemed to like the pub so that was cool. I tried to pass on some of my extensive knowledge of the City, but I don't know how helpful I actually was.
