March 30th
I skipped the run this morning again. I was still feeling tired and wanted to get some more rest so that when I got back the next week I would be ready to go again. Especially for the races. Work today was more of the same. I managed to get the DVD working. I had to change the format of the one video, which took me most of the morning. I use an old Compaq that would have been slow three or four years ago. I talked to Damien about the DVD and we got some things figured out. I went to lunch after that so that the computer could run some more stuff and I would have a test DVD to burn. I got back from lunch and everything was set to go. I got the files to Damien and he burned a copy before he went home for the day. I spent the beginning of the afternoon cleaning up all the files on my computer that I had been throwing around and that I didn’t need anymore. During that process, the file that I had spent most of the morning converting got deleted. So, I got back to doing that and I worked on the final layout of the DVD. Damien wanted to add some things and do a couple of things differently than I had it laid out and I was going to have to change some things to make it all work. Not a big deal and it shouldn’t take me too long to get it all figured out on Tuesday when I go in. While I was working on that Kate came and asked me if I could get some publications sent out. I spent the rest of the day doing that and headed home.
I got home from work and sat around doing some reading. I was sitting around in the TV room when someone came on and turned it on. The Weakest link was on and it was a special Doctor Who edition. It was pretty funny because I was the only one who had ever heard of the show and was laughing pretty hard the entire time. After that The Vicar of Dibbley was on. Someone else had heard of that though. I had a good time. Through out this time I was working on my journal and blog, trying to get caught up before Wales this weekend.
